Porsche or Ferrari? After the news of the 911 Targa 4 GTS you might have made up your mind, but hold your horses – we’ve something that might edge you in the other direction. Ferrari’s 488 GTB is an absolute stunner, and is being promoted by what we’ll say seems a rather appropriate hashtag – #WordsAreNotEnough.
It’s 40 years since Ferrari released its first mid-rear-engined V8 model, the 308 GTB, and this beauty has been created for the anniversary party. A turbocharged V8 with 660 horsepower that can do zero to 124mph in just over eight seconds, and 0-60 in three, it promises track level performance alongside genuine comfort that anyone can enjoy. The successor to the 458 is debuting at the Geneva Motor show in March but Ferrari’s decided to whet our appetites with an early look – trust us when we say you’ll want to spend some time salivating over the gallery section of the above link.
No pricing has been released as yet, but since its successor cost around a quarter of a million dollars that gives you a fair idea of what to expect.
