Gotham City SF // A Timelapse Film is one of those occasions when you can’t help but take your hat off to the creativity and ingenuity of those who have a passion for their art. Created by Toby Harriman, who shot all of the video on a Canon 6D and 5DMK III in San Francisco while dabbling with his passion for black and white photography, settled on the concept of Gotham City as a way to present the results.
Of course videos of this kind are strongly driven by an effective score, and Harriman searched for months to find the perfect composition. He settled on a chap called James Everingham – we say chap – a “boy” called James Everingham, who was 14 when he completed the full custom composition built from scratch specifically for the video.
We’re sure you’ll agree it’s mind-blowingly effective.
