Supercar fans should be eternally grateful to the Gran Turismo video game series, a platform which has helped radical designers who like a line of coke with their coffee realise their dreams, and those of every schoolboy who had supercar posters adorning their walls. It has produced things like the Aston Martin DP-100 and Mercedes AMG Vision – designs that would typically be reserved strictly for digitalised appreciation only to be dragged into the real world as genuine, working concepts, and now it’s gone and happened again – and it’s more bonkers than ever before.
This is the Infiniti Vision Gran Turismo Concept , designed for version 6 of the game but built in real life anyway because they just can. Unfortunately this time it’s just a scale model so you can’t actually go out and drive it, but that’s no reason why you can’t commission your own and stick it on the driveway just to catch the disbelieving stares of the neighbours as they walk by.
And let’s face it; it’s only a matter of time before this thing somehow becomes road-worthy.
