For most men getting a haircut is a bit of a chore – especially if you suffer from more bad hair days than Donald Trump. But when it gets to the point where even your wife/girlfriend refuses to walk on the same side of the street as you, you know the time has come to drag yourself down to the local barber. But then again, why bother?
With Shortcut you can have someone come to your home so you don’t have to risk being spotted in public with a mop that resembles a nest of mating sparrows. Simply open the app, choose a service (haircut, or haircut and beard trim), choose how many people need a snip (ideal for a flat full of lazy students then) and kick back and relax.
We think it’s a great idea, but unfortunately only appears to be available in New York City right now. The hand-picked barbers aren’t cheap, but $75 for a haircut is still probably a lot less than Mr.Trump’s hairdresser spends on therapy and it is open until midnight so for out-of-hours emergencies, this could be just the ticket.
