Your humble author can testify first hand to the unrivalled beauty and rip-roaring adventure on offer in Queenstown, NZ, after spending a week there some time ago and throwing himself off a cliff towards roaring white-water on one of the world’s highest bungee jumps. But fortunately you don’t have to listen to my attention-seeking tales of daring-do to get a picture of the majesty for yourself, as we have a rather awesome video lined up ready for your perusal.

“Tiny Queenstown”, from Nathan Kaso, with an appropriate soundtrack by Faded Paper Figures, gives you some indication of the sort of vistas that will greet you each and every morning in this magical town. Designed to emphasise the scale of the environment just to illustrate the grandiose nature of the surroundings, you’re also treated to a snapshot of some of the extreme activities you’ll encounter in this adventure-loving retreat. Needless to say any trip to New Zealand without a visit is barely a trip at all.
